Pesan Moral dalam Kearifan Lokal Masyarakat Lampung dan Pasemah sebagai Konten Prospektif yang Mendidik Generasi Muda di Era Digital

Abstract
The widespread use of social media among young people provides opportunities for self-expression but also creates challenges, including impulsive behavior, digital conflicts, and the deterioration of social relationships. Caution in accessing and sharing online content is often neglected, resulting in the continued spread of violence, threats, and abusive language. This study examines the Lampung proverb “Mak pelok ki lemoh, mak putus ki kendugh” and the Pasemah proverb “Ame dek tau ngiluki dide merusak jadilah” as moral guidelines relevant to today’s youth. The research aims to analyze the influence of social media on young people’s attitudes and social relationships, explore the philosophical meanings of these proverbs, and explain how their values can be revitalized as ethical guidance in digital communication. Using a philosophical-conceptual analysis through a literature review, the findings show that local proverbs can be revitalized as a moral compass in the social media era. The internalization of values such as prudence, responsibility, and integrity encourages young people to become more critical and wise in their online interactions while contributing to the development of a harmonious digital society.
Abstrak
Penggunaan media sosial di kalangan generasi muda memberikan manfaat sebagai ruang ekspresi diri, tetapi juga memunculkan tantangan seperti sikap tergesa-gesa, konflik digital, dan keretakan relasi sosial. Kehati-hatian dalam mengakses dan menyebarkan konten sering diabaikan, sehingga berbagai bentuk kekerasan, ancaman, dan ujaran kasar masih banyak ditemukan. Penelitian ini mengkaji peribahasa Lampung “Mak pelok ki lemoh, mak putus ki kendugh” dan Pasemah “Ame dek tau ngiluki dide merusak jadilah” sebagai pedoman moral yang relevan bagi generasi muda. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh media sosial terhadap sikap dan relasi sosial generasi muda, mengungkap makna filosofis kedua peribahasa, serta menjelaskan revitalisasi nilai-nilainya sebagai pedoman etis dalam komunikasi digital. Dengan metode analisis filosofis-konseptual melalui studi pustaka, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peribahasa lokal dapat direvitalisasi sebagai kompas moral di era media sosial. Internalisasi nilai kehati-hatian, tanggung jawab, dan integritas mendorong generasi muda menjadi lebih kritis dan bijaksana serta berkontribusi dalam membangun masyarakat digital yang harmonis.
