Peer Review Process
The submitted manuscript must have been accepted by the Editors of the Annual National Seminar on Philosophy and Theology organized by Faculty of Theology, Universitas Sanata Dharma, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The editor of the Seminar will review the submitted paper and if qualified, the article will be presented at the seminar. The editor of will suggest the author(s) to submit the manuscript to the Proceeding via its website. Submitted seminar paper is first reviewed by our editor. It will be evaluated in the office whether it is suitable with our focus and scope. Every submitted manuscript which passes this step will be checked to identify any plagiarism before being reviewed by reviewers. One of the reviewers is appointed from other institutions (national or international). The proceedings use a blind review: The manuscript will be sent to the reviewer anonymously. Reviewers' comments are also sent anonymously to corresponding author to take the necessary actions and responses. The decision of the revised manuscript will be then evaluated in editorial board meeting, the final decision of whom are sent to the corresponding author.
The following are the four main steps of the review process.
- The completed manuscript uploaded by the author(s) to the Proceedings of the National Conference on Indonesian Philosophy and Theology website is then assigned by the Chief Editor to see the editorial process.
- The editor will invite reviewers to give proper assessment and judgement of the submitted manuscript.
- The result of the review will be communicated to the editor for onward transmission to the author(s).
If required, the author(s) will revise the manuscript in light of the reviewers’ comments and suggestions and resubmit the manuscript within two to four weeks.
When the manuscript is finally accepted for publication, the editor will schedule the publication and inform the author(s) of the particular number and volume of the journal in which the article will be published.
