The moral crisis occurring among the younger generation today, especially among high school students, is a major challenge for the world of education. The impact of this moral crisis is felt in the increase in negative behavior that deviates from the norms that apply in society. Cases of bullying, vandalism, swearing, and foul language are often encountered. Various steps need to be taken, one of which is character building through instilling basic values in students. This study aims to develop a hypercontent-based e-learning module based on character values to support the holistic character building of high school students. The model used was the ADDIE Model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), which was adapted to the learning needs in the digital age. Students of Pangudi Luhur St. Yosef Surakarta High School in grade XII were selected as research subjects using purposive sampling. This module was designed to be interactive and integrated with basic values, especially "defending the weak," which are presented through dynamic and modular hypermedia content. The material was compiled based on an independent curriculum and was directly related to the context of students' daily lives. The results of the study show that the developed e-module has met the criteria for material feasibility and media feasibility, as well as the practicality test for character building. The results of the e-module development applied to high school students show that the use of value-based hypercontent
e-modules are considered effective, as demonstrated by the cognitive test results with 100% achievement and an average score of 87. Therefore, this e-module has become a strategic tool in achieving the goal of sustainable character education. This research contributes to the development of digital teaching materials oriented towards 21st-century skills and provides a concrete platform for schools to implement character-based education effectively.
